WHEN: Monday, August 28th – Wednesday, August 30th. Two nights.
WHERE: Camp Casey, Whidbey Island: www.spu.edu/casey
TIME/DETAILS: Girls should arrive at the Mukilteo ferry terminal no later than 1:45 pm to purchase a walk-on ticket for the 2:00 pm departure. (You may also use your Orca card.) We’ve reserved a bus to transport the girls from the Clinton ferry landing to Camp Casey. On Wednesday, the bus will return the girls to the Clinton ferry landing for the 11:00 am crossing. Please plan on picking up your daughter at 11:30 am on Wednesday at the Mukilteo ferry landing.
TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM MUKILTEO: Due to district rules and policies, we are not allowed to organize or arrange carpools for students. Athletes must find their own transportation to and from the Mukilteo ferry. Coaches will meet and supervise them there.
RSVP REQUIRED: If you plan to attend, please email Coach Meg at meggildea (at) gmail (dot) com no later than Friday, 8/18. We can take a maximum of 60 athletes. A wait list will be used if needed. Please do not reply to this email to RSVP – email Coach Meg directly.
COST: $135, checks payable to RHS. Please give checks and permission forms to Coach Donna at practice beginning August 21 or mail to her at 3502 Meridian Ave. N., 98103.
PERMISSION FORM: Permission forms will be emailed later this month as well as passed out at the first official practice on 8/21. Signed forms must be given to Coach Donna at practice no later than Wednesday, 8/23.
PACKING LIST: Packing list will be sent out one week before departure.
FOOD RESTRICTIONS: Please send a note to Coach Donna (donnajornlin (at) gmail (dot) com) if your daughter has dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, lactose intolerant) so she can alert the camp kitchen. They’re very accommodating, but need to know by August 10th!
